Default 2000 Power Window Prob

2000 Dodge Dakota SLT 5.9L - FDS window will not go up. The three other windows all go up and down fine using the FDS control panel switches. What should I replace? All three other windows only work with the FDS control. It's like window lock is on. Any suggestions are appreciated.

All the window wiring goes through the "FDS" door switches. It's a common failure point.

You may need to replace the driver's door window switch assembly, it is a common problem. I have read here that some guys have had good results from removing the switch from the door panel and spraying the connector plug with a good electrical contact cleaner. You may also be able to spray inside the switch itself to help clean it. I don't have a lot of info on it, I have manual windows so I never done it myself. If cleaning the switch does not work, my own opinion on it is to buy a new switch from the Dodge dealer. I have little faith in electrical parts from the junk yard..
