Default Window motor replacement

Is it possible to replace just the motor and not the entire regulator/motor assembly? (I know the motor is bad)

Does the motor just simply bolt on to the regulator?
I have an 01 Dakota Extended cab. It has the "scissor" regulator.

From what it looks like, I should be able just to bolt it on but want to make sure before I buy it.

Thanks for any replies.

Yes, you can just replace the motor, or the regulator, whichever you need.

Just be careful. The two gears, on the motor and the regulator are all that keep those arms from moving under tension via that spring you see. Once you pull the motor the regulator will snap back.
