Default Missing On Six Cylinders.

My Dakota 3.9L I just bought back Is Missing on all six cylinders, but still continues to run?? it idles great at 850-900 RPM. Drives fine, trans shifts hard and the fluid in the tranny smells like power steering fluid?? Ive changed the TPS, Intake air Temp sensor, idle air control module, the plugs and wires the rotor cap/bug. It still misses on the six cylinders. HELP lol

and how old are the wires and cap? something i have learned. any chrysler engine with a cap has a vent hole in the cap. the vent should be sealed, to keep moisture out. use JB-weld. that took a long time for me to find out, the hard way. else it will do a ford imitation. .

Have you taken it out for a good long drive to see if that helps yet?

Bad or old gas put some super in it and see what happens.

Toss some injector cleaner in the tank also like redline or Chevron Techron.

Hows the spark good maybe you have a weak coil

Ive only put about 45 miles on the truck since ive gotten it/trips longer than a mile or two is when my check engine light will flash reading "Mutiple Cylinder Misfire" 1st thru sixth cyl. but oddly enough idling it never throws an error code???.

I put 5 gallons of gas, with the additive call "SeaFoam" my friend said it works wonders so i tried it, I also thoroughly cleaned the throttle body and replaced two bad sensors on it.. I reckon i aught to replace the coil next.. Good thinking!
