suspension issue ??
i had my 98 dakota 4wheel sitting for almost a year about 3yrs ago ... if the truck sits at a leven gas station or flat piece of cement .. the front passenger side looks like its dipping slightly ... i replaced both shocks ... stilll looks the same .... everthings new on the front end except lower ball joints ... could lower ball joints make it dip on one side or bushings ?? its been driving me up a wall ... sometimes it looks fine and sometimes it looks like it dips .... any info would be cool ..
Have you tryed checking height. You can check height by measuring both sides. On level surface measure from ground to bottom of fender well. May need to crank torsion bars to even up both sides.
Torsion bars are what is used on a 4x4 in place of springs. On the control arm you will find a bar it will run toward the back of the truck. Follow it back to the end and there will be a torsion key with a bolt in it. Turn the bolt in to lift the truck. You will need to get the front end off the ground to relieve some of the pressure off of it.There will be 1 for each side. My advice soak those bolts down with WD40 or PB Blaster overnight. They can be a bear to move.
how does it look when someone your size is sitting in it?my truck looks the same as you say. my guy may be full of ****, but he says they set our trucks about 3/4inch shorter on the pass side to compensate for when the driver is in it. just my $0.02.
