hey guys lookin at buying this truck> http://manitoba.kijiji.ca/c-cars-veh...AdIdZ410330076

Its got the awd-4hi-4low tcase options and im wondering if its possible to disable the awd on these so i can have some fun in 2wd...

That is definitely a monster of a Dakota. Good luck to you on the purchase and hopefully someone can answer your question. I tried doing some quick research but couldn't find any specifics for you.

I thought the AWD was covered in the FAQ...my guess is that AWD has a center differential, 4WD locks it up.

I tried looking on here and I only found doing a tcase swap which is way out of my abilities. Is there a fuse i can pull or a custom switch I can wire in so the awd will stop kicking in when the rear tires spin?

more than likely, I would think so. I dont think 01's had AWD..if they did, I can search my FSM for you.

Take off your front drive shaft. Thats all you can do.
