'03 CC 4.7L, 4x4 auto. Dead stock, 98k. Hiway, (70), 19 empty, 12 loaded. City 14 empty, 9 loaded. Not a heavy foot on start.

TO:magnethead you told me with my 4.1 that 70 mph would be 2300 rpm. well i checked it out you are dead on, it was 2,300 rpm. at 70 mph. i have had the 4.1 a while, but have not had it on the hi-way yet, for a long time.

it ain't great, but not terrible either
2004 quadcab, 4.7, 3.55 gears, 2 WD, 5 spd automatic: 19.5 highway, can't really say on city because I never do a complete tank without quite a bit of highway miles. Probably 14 or so.

I'm averaging about 17.5 right now. A lot of highway driving though. It will drop soon though with winter coming. Already saw our first snow...

mine is super low. 33" tires. stock gearing. a tired v6 and trans haha. she does better out in the desert gas wise than on the street...hinting at maybe keeping it as a dirt truck only haha

2001 Dakota Sport 4x4 with 4.7 and a 5spd. I get around 15 in town and 17 highway

Been working on mine for the past few months, now averaging about 15.5 mpg. Seems to have gone up about 2 mpg.

18L/100km last couple fill ups with some 4x4ing in there.
Had it down to 13L/100km this one time
