Default Mystery Plug

This is driving me crazy. Well, I am a little OCD too...lol.

I have a plug on my 97 Dakota that I have no idea where it goes. The plug comes out of a wiring harness that goes across the front cross member. It exits this wiring harness, on the right, just above the lower radiator hose. It only has a tail of about 10 inches long so it can't plug into something very far away. For the life of me i can't find where it goes. If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

Thanks!!

it goes to the outside temp sensor that would of been mounted to the front of the core support next to the pass headlight , it is for the temp display on the overhead console if your truck would of had one from the factory .
