I have a 1998 Dodge Dakota 318 5.2L V8 and i just put a new remanufactured motor and it stalls in reverse. It will idle in park and in drive. We have replaced the IAC and that helped it idle a lot better. I am confused on why it stalls in reverse so any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

 

check your trans fluid. and the lock up converter .

 

I have checked my trans fluid and it is good

 

i found out today that it will drive and it drives like normal but still stalls in reverse. Nobody knows of anything to try?
