Question How hard is it to replace the rear leaf spring bushings on the 2wd 98 Dak

How hard is it to replace the rear leaf spring bushings on a 2wd 98 Dak?

Is it worth it to go with the high end bushings and are they easier or harder to install? LINK

Any tips on doing this?

Any things to avoid?

All help is appreciated Thanks

I've done leaf spring replacements, but not solely the bushings but I'd think they're practically the same so I'll give the best I can.
If have the time and a few buddies, I'd recommend taking the whole bed off because then it makes things so much easier to work with, not to mention you can check other components if you want.
And make sure you spray everything with penetrating oil a day or two before starting the work.
As far as the bushings, I'd think a ball joint press would be perfect to remove the old ones and replace the new ones

I never have done it but I know some can be a pain to install. Check around for a local spring shop they can do it for pretty cheap if you have a problem with them.

Bushing pretty much need to be press out and back in. Can be a real pain but can be done yourself.
