i have a 2004 dodge dakota an i noticed i have a check engine light an the codes are 1. vapor canister level high 2. vapor canister level low. well i hear a rattling underneath like its trying to vent an it will throw these codes. so i went to rock auto and bought one and realized after it showed up its the wrong one it's way too small. my vacuum lines are way too big for the spots on the purge valve.. but the connecter connects.. i cant find the right one anywhere.. i read about how its a dealership only part is this true?

 

Rock Auto is were I got mine for a 2000 with 4.7. Did you try to contact them?

 

The one I got for mine is too small. I couldn't find the right one on their site

 

You might try E-Bay and look for a store for a Steve White Motors of North Carolina. There are a Mopar dealership that sells on E-Bay. Prices not to bad.
