Take it to a shop and get it fixed right. If it is cracked then you need to weld it.

There is a lot more to the suspension geometry than where the shocks mount.

Was trying to avoid dumping too much into it, had the truck for about 4 years and it's became just my beater work truck. Which is the reason I'm on here trying to figure out cheaper solutions for a fix because the truck isn't worth dumping a few hundred for a shock to be fixed

Suspension geometry that’s the word I couldn’t think of

And the shock mounts are on opposite sides for a reason

Taking the bed off is by far the easiest to get it fixed. Only take about a hr and a buddy to get it off. You could rig it to work but who knows how long it would make it. Then you would being doing it all over again. You could go to the junk yard and get one. Cut the rivets out but they arent easy. The 2 I took off my truck for my trailer hitch ate up my cutting disc in no time.

Okay guess it looks like I'm gonna have to go and take it down and have my usual shop look at it and see what he thinks as far as work and pricing on it.

Thanks to everyone for your responses, real nice to be able to get helpful comments from various people with different points of views and past experiences when you need it.
