I hate to say it but I won't be too far behind. I drive a lot, put over 10k miles on it this summer and spent a lot of money on gas... It sucks because I love my truck but between the gas and repairs, it just doesn't make sense. I haven't posted this yet but last weekend the throw out bearing went...

I would love to be paying what you guys are for gas. 3.65 here I'm paying 4.10 a gal for diesel. A 35 gal tank too. Fill that up a few times then go back to gas and u will love it lol. I still will never get rid of my truck no matter how bad it gets.

Yeah but you get better gas mileage with a 2500 than I do with a Dakota... Gas in NY is +$4 a gal.

Sometimes. Right now on winter fuel I'm only averaging about 15-16mpg

Sad to hear another long time member in this section is gone, I had to do the same thing in February with buying a car but LUCKILY I could afford and now, since Thursday with closing on my house, have a place other then back under trees to store the truck without it getting covered in **** and spiders infesting it. My round trip went from 47 round trip to 14 miles now but it's still nice with 30 MPG and a peppy 2.4L 4 banger as a dd to not use all your money on gas. Payments suck but with a 12 almost 13 year old truck an upgrade is nice, now I get to break the garage in by doing the heater core in the Dakota.

^ I'd kill to have a garage. I moved out of my parents place and into an apartment and I HATE it. No garage or anywhere to work on my truck. I have to drive to my in-laws just to change my oil. I'm hoping to get a house in a next two year because I need a garage again... and a grill.
