Default I want my cake and eat it too.

Right now I have the 3.9 (I know I know). It's lifted with 32's and I have the 3.55 Diff. The only mods so far is a CAI, V8 TB, ACCEL Cap and Rotor and a Flowmaster Super 40. Right now I'd be content just to get it up to par with a stock V8. How much am I getting into here? Looking to get the MSD Blaster SS Coil real soon along with some Taylor 8mm wires and a 180 T-Stat. What could I do next to net me the most gains? I know basically things kinda go together and help in the long run but what should I do next? This is my first vehicle I've done anything to so I'm kinda lost, that and trying to get this beast of a motor running any faster isn't easy but I'd still like to see what I can do. Any help would be nice. Thanks

ok well how about headers, i think you would probably need internals to get the hp of a v8 (not sure). . . maybe a programmer or chip. . .

You can get a supercharger kit for the 3.9 engine! But then again, for the price of the supercharger, it may be cheaper to swap out the 3.9 for a modded 5.9! Maybe need a new tranny for new engine! So many choices!

I would:

Swap the gears for 4.11's or at the very least 3.92's. If you go the 3.92 route, see if you can't find a 9.25" factory unit in a j/y with the oem limited slip - if you swap gears it'll run you about $500 with parts, plus 3-500 more if you add a limited slip diff, so you could get a used whole assembly for a fair bit cheaper.

Headers and a high flow cat - custom pipes 2.25" diameter from headers to a Y, then 2.5" back.

Cam if anyone makes them for the 3.9, perhaps different rockers instead
