Default Shock recommendations?

I have a 2000 Dakota, 4.7L, 4x4 that needs new front and rear shocks.

I've searched and found a lot of info on shocks but not what I'm looking for. I would like to hear opinions and experiences with shocks from owners.

I'm looking for a front shock that is heavy duty and doesn't let the truck dip in the turns. For rear shock. I want a heavy duty one that holds up to towing, hauling dirt/sand/gravel (to the load limit) as well as some off roading (nothing major just off the path).

Also, what upgrades to hardware (bolts-nuts etc) should be done since this truck is 12 years old?

Thanks in advance.

You'll get lots of opinions.

I have KYB's in the front, they're fine. I have Monroe Sensatrac's in the rear, no problems there either. I have hauled more than the limit, no problems.

I used to have KYB's in the back, hated them. When empty, it was so stiff it would bounce on rough roads and the rear would slide out.

I have Rancho 5000 series all around. They work well off road and have held up towing a 12 foot trailer full of dirt or quads. It a little stiff in the back with no load but I'll take that knowing I can load it rite up with no worries. I replaced all the mounting bolts with grade 8 strength.
