New Crank Sensor...now running awful

I think you'll have 8 volts from PCM a ground and a sensor return or reference to see if the sensor is working I believe you need an analog volt meter so you can see the voltage sweep. you test it the same as you would test any sensor positive lead in sensor signal and negative lead to ground crank engine with coil wire disconnected and like I said you watch for the needle to sweep to 8 volts if it doesn't check for voltage from PCM and also for a ground. hope that helps

Did you use a Mopar crank sensor? If you didn't, that may be the problem. I had one put in my '97 3.9l last week, and the shop indicated he aftermarket units are not always reliable...you can guess where they are made.
