I also recently received my build sheet and found I could use a key fob. I hadn't acted on it until seeing this thread.

Crown Dodge in Chattanooga charges $30 per programming attempt. Per attempt means: If you bring in a bad or used key fob, they're charging you regardless.

I just purchased 2 key fobs off ebay for a total of $32. Dealer charges $130 for each of these.

Owned this truck with a single key for over 7 years. I wonder how it's going to feel... strange, I suspect.

Will let y'all know how it turns out...

ya once you get your pn just search it on ebay and find them alot cheaper

I borrowed a DRBIII from a friend and programmed my own key fob. It took all of about 2 minutes. I think $30 is a pretty reasonable price for a dealer to charge but if you're paying for a whole hour, you're getting ripped off.

Got the P/N # some reason dealer didn't wont to part with it. Could have been told him I couldn't afford his $110 key fob. And it is $60 to program no matter if it works or not.But this is only 1 dealer have to check others. Found these on E-Bay for $15 they are new.
