Default spare

Does anyone know ANY doughnut tire I can use for a spare on my 98 dakota? I know they are full size spares! I need to know if any doughnut tire anywhere from any car will fit.

Question

I don’t think you will find any the 6 bolt pattern is very unique to the Dakota even if you found one the size would too small to work on a Dakota.

Why do you even want one you have the space for a full size tire and actually need the extra weight on the back wheels anyway?

Go get a junkyard one and stick under your Dakota

Viper would be your only choice other than that no But im pretty sure at the high price tag of them they are a full size matching spare. Dakota bolt patterns are not very common. Go to the junk yard and get a spare or even look on craigs list or on the for sale section here they can be had for about 50.00 or less.

I have a full size spare! I have a custom truck with air bags. No room for a full size spare. And the viper also has a full size spare.

Well pretty much out of options. You can check Nissan xtera I think they might be the same bolt pattern. I'd look but I'm on my phone. Other than that I don't think there is anything else. I went 4 years without a spare on my Dakota never once got a flat. I got road side assistance so never bothered me.

What is it about the full size spare that doesn't fit? Is it the width, or the diameter? If you got a 15" wheel off a base model Dakota and put something like a 40-series tire on it, it would be pretty small. But it would still be wider than a temporary spare.

I was going to say, I have a spare tire available...its been sitting around for years, but seeing pictures of your truck, there's no way a 31x10.5x15 will fit, lol.
