Don't know how much of a help this is. From my 01 manual. I only shows C107 for the 4.7L so I don't know if it's applicable to the others.

I need the function of the wire though. What do those wire actually do? Only 4-5 of the wire numbers even cross over to the 05 Ram.

Anyone have pinouts for california model 02 Dak? Need ECM C3 connector pinout and the two connectors in the engine fuse panel, C106 and C107 I believe... Anything extra would be awesome too.

Use the numbers and color to see what the wires are .. The ones that begin with T usually have something to do with the transmission. . Bus connectors start with a D. Main frame Grounds usually start with a Z.. I know it's not much help but it's a starting point to wires you're not sure of..The numbers will Almost always be the same from one truck to another , even if the color and names are different..

The problem though is that I've already tried punching the wire numbers (from magnethead's pinouts a few comments back) into the 05 Ram pinout PDF and only a couple crossed over, the rest aren't used in the Ram.

magnethead-

Until now I hadn't bothered looking at the wire colors, but just decided to go compare them to what mine are and the colors are a perfect match (minus a couple stripes being different). I would be EXTREMELY grateful if you happened to have the pinout information that says what those wires actually do. None of the numbers really cross over between the pinout you posted and the 05 Ram wiring.

Well... Without any help and a ton of wire tracing, I've managed to get a good portion of the wiring done. The part thats still getting me right now is the ignition switch wiring. The truck has a single wire labeled "fused ignition +12v", where as the engine has three wires labeled "fused ignition output (run)", "fused ignition output (run, start)", and "fused ignition output (off, run, start)"....

Anyone have anything on this?

Oh, and that is according to the 04 Durango wiring, when going off 05 Ram "off, run, start" is labeled as ASD something or other, but is still the same pin on the computer and the same wire number.

Update...

The truck is mostly up and running at this point. Having some issues with batteries but that should hopefully be fixed this weekend, and it still needs a proper exhaust but I have it set up with dual glasspacks for now. Missing O2 sensors still so its defaulting to running rich. Also, may have fried the fuel level sender by accidently hooking it to the pumps control wire during the wiring stage, not positive because I haven't put more than a few gallons in the tank at this point. Looking at possibly adding a second fuel tank for extended drivability and/or transport since new exhaust runs outside the frame rails freeing up space under the bed.

Cool. The wiring is the only thing that scares me at this point. Good luck

So heres a question...

I'm trying to do whatever possible to get my milage up on this truck, not that its bad, I just want to push it as high as possible. Currently I'm seeing 14 MPG with 80% highway usage. I'm expecting to get about 22-24 once I get the O2 sensors hooked up and get my front hubs unstuck. And I'm looking into swapping the gears possibly to 410 from stock along with getting a Diablosport tuner to further boost the milage. Hoping that all this will help push me close to 28 or better. Is this unreasonable? Any other possible mods that could boost milage? Possibly removing the clutch fan???
