Dodge needs to get there prices under control $27 for these parts only available through them is over the top and I thought some of these were two to a pack but only one of each showed up UPS and they were a discount OEM place.

Angry No I needed new parts

No I needed new parts I have done a ton of work in this area so I was removing my air box constantly and the plastic push on's were getting worn out so I need new not used junkyard ones that are already likely worn out.

Plus Im trying to bring the box up some to accommodate my air box/air hose mod I did last month.

My mod worked great but I need just a small amount of lift on the air box it clears fine I’m just getting picky with it I want it to look professional that’s all.

If you remember I had that big crazy looking S tube on it before

A link to what I did LINK

You need to lose that resonator and you would be golden! Actually what I prob would of tried was to see if the battery would fit on the other side and just run battery cables to the fuse block. The filter over there would of been perfect!

Default The resonator is something I will be working on next

The resonator is something I will be working on next I want to gut it and see how she runs. I couldn't see modifying things as much as you are talking about that's a lot of work for a very small gain. As it is with all the mods I have done in the last year my 2.5 is running very strong the best she has run in years. She has strength again I even have a number of other mods in mind that I will be getting into next year.

It would just be a clean look. I would have to prob do it so it would look cleaner. I dont think it would be that bad tho.

Wink I made me some silicon spacers

Well I made me some silicon spacers from a piece of silicone hose left over from the blue air tube with the new parts and now my air hose is no longer resting on my A/C tubes like in the picture well it was just touching a small amount but I wanted to see air between the two.

I’m glad I replaced it the old pop on fitting was cracked all the way through and smashed up pretty good so it was toast like I thought.

So I’m set finished with this mod 100%

Next NEW Hub's
