Difference between 1999 front diff and 2000 front diff
I am searching for a lift for the 2000 and up dakota 4x4 and keep hitting the wall at 1999.
Can anyone tell me what exactly the difference is in the front ends between '99 and '00?
I know the differential is different. but in what way.
is the casing different? the mounts?
Can a '99 lift be modified to work with a 2000 front end?

It's a Dana front end in '99 vs the C205 in '00.
Your steering is VERY different. 2000 went to a rack and pinion on the 4x4.
How much lift are you trying to get? You can crank the keys or get different keys.
