hello fellow Dak owners. Question, for weeks I have been wrestling with evap codes that will not go away. Fuel cap brand new stock item from the dealer. Leak detection pump new from the local auto parts store. Purge valve new from the auto parts store. These forementioned items are brand new and just replaced. Smoke test done topside in the engine bay and all bad hoses replaced. With all that being said today I get another P0441 code AGAIN!!

suggestions on where else to look?

 

I had a evap code come up on my 02 dakota & the problem ended up being the two hoses under the truck mounted to the evap canister. ( I believe just under drivers seat under truck). Check You Tube for a video on the location of a evap canister on a extra cab 03 dakota. Hope this takes care of your issue.

 

update...
problem fixed. the parts replaced needed to be replaced. the root of the problem turned out to be two crossed evap hoses
