That's the redline, not shift point.

The hydraulics of the transmission will dictate when/where/how it shifts.

I have the 545RFE in my Dakota, at least I should. I'll have to do some more looking around.

the 545 is behind the *.7 engines I believe (I know 5.7/4.7 for sure, I think 3.7 too) and are full electric control I believe.

That's good to know. I remember having a "6 speed" 5 speeds with two 2nd gears...and I was pretty sure that was the 545. Now, which tuner do I get...

Yea, the 545 is a multi-choice gearbox.

The SCT gives you tuning freedom but the SC Flashpaq will move your shift points.

1st 3.00:1
2nd 1.67:1
2nd Prime 1.50:1
3rd 1.00:1
4th 0.75:1
5th 0.67:1
