I was looking to see if anyone knows if the rear bumper on a 2004 dodge dakota sxt is adjustable? I want to put the break light bar underneath my tailgate but I don't have space for it? Do i need an aftermarket bumper? Thanks guys

 

Nope, well known issue, dodge designed the dakotas too well and made it difficult for us to have tailgate lights.....you're not the first to complain.

 

I could adjust my 98's slightly. You can get a roll pan and then run a led bar.

 

My led bar is a few inches up on my tailgate but it just perfectly clears when you open the tailgate. I think it looks good still, I'll get a picture up tomorrow
