I didn't even notice the black filler pane missing. I like it being body color.
well on the 03 and 04's they didnt have that black panel piece between the door and the back window i like mine painted body color thou alot of the time the black decal there cracks and looks like crap
this is the only pic i got online of the side of my truck this was taken in 2008 after i bought the truck

Thanks for all the great comments guys. You ALL will be happy to know the ricer mirrors have been replaced with OEM black ones 
AND he put on new tail light lenses because they were faded. And don't forget about the new autostart! It is worth the extra $300 for that alone. And the price will be a bit different than in most lower 48 states, Alaska has typically higher pricing on decent 4WD vehicles. Always has for many reasons. It's just something we deal with. And speaking of dealing with things..........Expecially now that it's dropping near -20 at night
AND it has a block heater already installed as well. Nothing is set in stone till I see it and drive it in person though. That should be in the next couple days. I will keep everyone informed. Thanks again.

The DEAL just got sweeter!!
We were supposed to meet Thursday to do the deed. So I get a call from the guy today and he is looking at a car, and NEEDS cash NOW!! If I can meet up with him tonight I can have it for $3600!! 
So needless to say I am making every effort to do it and (LORD willing) will be driving it home tonight.

It's home!!
FINAL PRICE: $3300 There were a few minor issues I talked him down on and the autostart he had ended up not being compatable... It's need some TLC but overall not a bad little rig.
Oh yeah, it's got headers and dual exhaust, BONUS !

I own a 2000 Dodge Dakota ext cab......I have 427,000 miles on it and I use it everyday......most dependable truck I have ever owned....
no major repairs...I have replaced the aux AC fan 3 times...other than regular maint. tires and brakes oil changes ..it has been a good truck
