Manifold leak & car shuts off
Hi all,
I had the car for about a month now. I have a 1998 Dodge Dakota 2.5l. In the past month I have changed good amount of parts, including the Heater Core. Mind I add it was a PITA. The heat has been working really well and I am happy with it.
On to my current issues:
I have a manifold leak. I want to replace the exhaust manifold and gasket. Do you guys have any recommendation on what brand to get?
I am trying to find a DIY guide online for the 2.5l but I can’t find one. How hard would it be to replace the manifold?
Next issue is:
When I drive the card for a long period of time the truck shuts off. I have no Check engine light to indicate a problem. I can start it back up just fine.
If I drive the truck hard I have to reset the car by disconnecting the battery in order to start the truck. What does this mean?
