The Po said the solenoid was replaced during the rebuild so, If the frayed wires in the OD switch are not the problem then my next place to look is the OD circut fuse. Can someone tell me where it is? Under the hood or in the fuse panel on the side of the dash?

 

Well the truck is at the trans shop. I just got a call...........the tech said he's NEVER seen an OD unit as messed up as mine! All of the internals are SHOT and he was suprised that the trans was able to spin thru the MESS that was in the OD unit. He said a total rebuild replacement of the OD unit is the only way to go. He will be looking for the parts, as the housing was the only thing worth saving. Probably adding $4-5 hundred to the already quited $2000 rebuild NOT what I was hoping for.
