I have a 2002 Dakota sport that did not come with fog lights. Does anyone know what would be good to install in the cutouts? and how do these light mount?

Go to ebay or Amazon, either one will have plenty to choose from. Just search Dakota fog lights. There are OEM style and most any brand of aftermarket. If your dash doesn't have the factory switch you will have to wire them up yourself.

 

Mine didn't have either. I got the bottom plastic piece with the fog lights holes ... about $120 ... Need to paint it though... probably another $200...
and the fog lights themselves were $60 on ebay.

 

Do they mount to the holes or do they mount to the frame/bumper?

 

By the looks of the light assembly I'd say they mount to the bumper bracket. Something metal for sure.
