you need to check it at the coil. and you say you have spark at the coil or in each of the plugs

I wonder if the distributor has gone bad I have never heard of any distributors going bad but who knows.

Or a timing chain jumped a sprocket I have heard of that happening it’s something that usually can’t happen but I have read of it happening

You have checked the Distributor Ignition Pickup correct if thats bad you will have no spark.

Or checked the Distributor Ignition Pickup connection for dirt or corosion pull it apart and get a good look at the terminals

I would say timing

So you now have

spark

a fuel pump that sounds like it works but I wonder if the injectors are firing do you smell gas?

everything was fine before. no warning. engine ran smooth.

as for gas. i hear the fuel pump build pressure. plus i disconnect the fuel line right before the rail. it shot gas out like a super soaker.

so far i a have replaced spark plugs, plug wires, cap, rotor, pick up, crank pos sensor, and coil.

so,, at the this point. i am thinking it might be the pcm. since i really don't know what else to look at. and yes this is weird.

well I would pour a little gas down the throttle body and crank it over see if she fires. when she turns over does it sound like only half of it is moving. if the timing chain has slipped it will never run maybe never again. I would verify timing also check for 12 volts at injectors also check the resistance of all of them
