Lift coils for Dakota (V8 or V6, depending on your engine) on ebay for like $80... Drop shackles for a 4x4 will lift a 2wd's rear end a few inches. Those are like $30 bucks. I lifted mine like that, gained 2 inches all around and it cost me about $100.

I'm thinking about using spacers in front and drop shackles in back.

I've heard you need longer shocks if you go bigger than 3". dirtbiker: where did you get your drop shackles?

Summit, for a C1500, forget what year, 2.5" wide spring.

No new shocks unless you go over 3 inches, which isn't possible for us 2wd's without serious modification. And yeah, it's not too stiff of a ride and I think it looks good:

I just got them at AutoZone... I don't buy much there, but they had a fair price on the drop shackles (like $30 bucks if I remember). And also, they only carry one width, which is the right width (2.5" I think)

I don't remember, but they were by the lift blocks and add a leafs for the rear suspension... Just ask someone who works there if you cant find it.
