I got mine to run today by holding the throttle open while cranking it. and then it wouldn't idle for about 30 minutes. i did check a sparkplug before cranking and it was really wet. after talking with my brother who is an excellent technican he says it's the coolant temp sensor. it will flood the engine on cold start and won't let it idle until fully warmed up so i'll check it out tomorrow and maybe replace it. he said it won't through a code for it unless it's shorted or unplugged. but if they just go bad they don't show a code.

FIXED!!!!!!! I changed out the coolant temp sensor and it runs and starts up fine now. it's to the right of the thermostat and takes a 1/2 inch deep well socket to get out. it cost $16 bucks from oreillys.

Didn’t someone suggest replacing the coolant temp sensor maybe it was a different no start posting so many the last month.

That is a common thing to check for on hard or no start problems

I say change all your sensors if at the 150K mark that’s when they are getting a bit old and possibly out of range always keep the old sensors as backup’s label them keep them.
