The fenders and wheel wells are rotting out on my Dakota. Yesterday the wheel well molding and mud flap flew right off my truck! Ugh! Does anybody know a good source for body parts, or is my best bet the dealer?

 

try salvage yards first you might be supprised at what youl find

 

Yeah, that was my first thought as I used to work at one back in the day. I think I'm still just in shock and was looking for a quick fix. Ugh, I hate bodywork...

 

Go to a wrecker first, if all else fails try a place like rockauto.com - I'm sure they carry fenders for our trucks. Great prices but I can't tell ya what shipping would be like.

And I agree - I hate body work too... Spend all that time on it and if you make one little mistake you'll be right back doing it again in 2 years from now.
