disable the air bag

Default disable the air bag

I want to disable my air bag when i go offroading...not any time soon, still building my kit. but im going to be jumping my truck and i dont want it going off. how do i got about this? its a 2001 3.9 slt 2wd. is there a fuse?

This isnt a daily driver is it?? You will destroy the truck in no time at all...

yeah it is my DD. what do you mean destroy it? pulling the airbag fuse?

definantly not goin to wreck my truck. 3 inch lift coils (stiffer) new upper arms and 10 inch reservoir shocks and bigger spindles will do the job! i just dont wanna land hard enough to trigger the air bag.

smart thinking, i too want to know how to do this.. id prefer to be able to put it all on 1 switch to disable. (be a slightly better idea than pulling fuses)
