Just drill a hole and use a bolt, stupid plastic parts lol

I wish it were that easy, but the ball thing in the Depo headlight (under the V in the picture) is metal and the socket that the ball fits into is plastic. Then the plastic fits into a pre drilled hole in the the core support. There is nothing to drill out....

I will still say that even if you had the retainer, it won't do anything for you. I have one side with and the other without that retainer and there is no difference.

I wouldn't think so either, but on the upper outer passenger side the light kind of sticks out from the fender without that ball in the retainer to hold it.
