If I get it towed to the dealership to get a code read, I'm gonna have them fix it. I probably should buy me a personal scanner. I knew that 0700 was generic for the trans from my previous problem. I was troubleshooting and tracing the wiring harness, basically thinking the problem could be something other than the trans itself. Process of elimination of a sort. I noticed that there is a plunger type switch for the brake pedal. The schematic in my book showed that it plays a part in the switching and engagement of the gears. I have yet to pull it to test it because I'm a little weary of screwing things up worse. I reckon I'll just have to suck it up and get it towed. I'm a little worried that I'm gonna need a whole rebuild of the trans. Anyway, I thank ya'll for the suggestions and I'll post when I get the results. Thanks all...

Dont you have a regular tech you go to? ask him to bring his scanner to your house and toss him a 20 to get the codes. But dont clear them if your going to tow it to the dealer. They will want to see what it has stored.

Got it towed and they said it was the valve body. They redid it and replaced both filters and charged me 1200+. Gotta love livin' in Killeen, Tx......Thanks everyone.....
