My modified 99 dakota rt runs good at low rpms, but dosnt have any power at 3000 rpm or higher. Fuel pressure is at a constant 50 psi even under load. Tried bigger fuel injectors, computer, ignition, no luck. It has a 2800 stall converter. Any ideas??

 

Restricted exhaust?

 

I checked out the cat....dosnt seem to be restricted, but I might remove it and see what happens. Thanks for the feedback.

 

Yep...ran a ba ck pressue test and sure enough it was bad

 

Sweet! At least it's a relatively easy fix.
