Default Tires

Hello im looking to get new tires for my 2000 dakota sport 4X4. Right now the truck has 31X10.5X15 tires on it. I was going to look into lifting the truck to put on bigger tires, but i dont have the time to do so at this point. Do you think 29X10.5X15 super swamper mud tires will be too small and look bad on the truck. My tires are as bald as can be and i need to buy new ones withing the next week.

I really wouldnt recommend going that small unless you are going with a really wide tire looks wise. What kind of tire are you looking for and how do you use your truck. Stay away from the swampers if you will be encountering ice at all or a lot of wet road conditions(not much siping)

Crank your torsion bars and you will be able to fit 32's under it. I had 2 sets of bfg a/t's on my dakota and they were a great tire! Going 29in tires would look tiny on a dakota!

Like dodgeramguy said look up how to crank your torsion bars, get an alignment and put some 32x11.50's on it. Anything smaller than a 31 imo is going to look really really stupid and you'll prolly regret it. I cranked my torsion bars just over an inch and fit the 32's with minor rubbing in reverse until it wore away some.
