How much power will a stock bottom end take on a 99 360 magnum r/t. Had mods on it when I bought it. Thinkin 408 when i get the money. 56k miles, mopar intake, mopar not stock heads, headders, mopar cam, 2800 stall converter. Any ideas?

The 408 will be a great build on the 5.9 Magnum. Several Mopar magazines have done articles on it. I will move this to the 2nd generation Dakota sub-forum where it will get more views.

A 408 does not use a stock bottom end.

Stock bottom end 5.9s have been boosted into the 600+HP range, reliably.
