Default Engine almost died when i was parking?

hey everyone im just asking to get an idea of possible problems. i have a 4.7L and was parking today, foot on the break and when i turned the wheels the engine dropped to about 200rpm, then i backed up, and did the same thing and it happened again. i went in for food, came back out and tried to make the problem happen again, it didnt. any ideas?
also a real simple one, just got new tires and alignment and my breaks feel stiff much earlier than before, like i press down less for them to get stiff, i never have to push really hard, it just gets stiff, a pinched break line maybe? or has anyone heard of an alignment including a break bleeding?

I wouldn't be too concerned about stalling at low rpm while turning the wheel. It's very much more prevalent in reverse, but it does occur in drive as well. It's simply the load of the torque convertor on the brakes, with the power steering pump adding further load.

I have no idea on the brake pedal thing.

I would call and take it back to whom did the tire work. Explain the change and ask them to inspect what they did.

Does your parking brake behave differently as well?

They may have tweaked something on you most shops hunt for other things to repair over half the shops I know will inspect your brakes they say as a courtesy but what they are don’t is drumming up business/work so they can make more money off you. That’s the number one reason I don’t go to a shop for anything as they always find other things to fix without your permission.

One of the last times I had a shop do some work for me was when my PCM failed on me and a small power steering fluid leak well they fixed the PCM ok and found my power steering sensor was leaking and in checking it they ripped all the wires out of the sensor plug for me this was a very blatant attempt to suck more money out of me as I had pulled the sensor plug just the other day looking around and it came off with ease and the wires were fine... so how did they rip my wires out when they were fine just last week?

They found more work all right they made more work at my expense

There is a pressure sensor for the power steering which is supposed to bump up the idle when needed. It could be anything though that caused the stall, even a dirty throttle body or IAC.

Maybe the shop adjusted your back brakes. Unless there was air in the system before bleeding them wouldn't change the feel as fluid doesn't compress.
