Default Marine Grease

Not a lot of threads on Marine Grade Grease. Tow a jet ski every season and figure to use marine grease to save the planet when I submerge the trailer and anything in the rear end of the truck.

Can I just add it to what is in there or do I need to purge out the old with a solvent or something?

Specs:
Base type: Aluminum Complex
Color: Blue
NLGI: Grade 2
Drop POint: 450° F Min

Thanks!

i think it would be too much of a pain to try and get it all out, as you add the new grease the old stuff will seep out, but if it were me I would just add it to what you got in there already

You shouldn't mix different types of grease (aluminum and lithium based, for example) because some are incompatible and can do weird things (like turn to liquid). If you don't know for sure that they're compatible, clean the old stuff out first.
