trans fluid leak!

trans fluid leak!

so today i noticed a puddle in the front of my truck on the passenger side. it's definitely trans fluid as i don't know any other fluid that is a redish pink. any ideas on where the leak could be coming from?

Check the lines to the transmission cooler.

What engine/year?

its a 2000 with the 4.7

Isn't atf-4 also used as power steering fluid in our trucks? You might check that, too, just in case.

Yes it is. Check the boots on the steering rack as well as the tranny lines.
