Hey guys, I picked up a used fiberglass tonneau cover 6.5 bed. came with no lift supports. I know the size, but how many lbs should each lift be? I picked up some from autozone, but its hard as hell to close the cover, they are to stiff. any ideas how to calculate this?

What brand is it? Best to go to the manufacture and get replacement ones.

 

ya if you know the brand it would help there is about 6 or so companys that made covers for the Dakota if you cant do pics is it a single center mounted lock or one on each side
