Default 99' Dakota Fuel Pump Line

Truck has had issues starting lately, and figured it was the fuel pump. Found a replacement, and went to drop it in (dropped the tank), and in the process of trying to get the clip off that fuel line, it kinked and the plastic inners came out.

there was a white ring and a black piece that has a larger lip on one end. Im trying to figure out how they go back in properly, or if its just possible to replace the plastic portion of the fuel line as it also now has a kink in it from me man-handling it out of there.

I tried to put the inners back in as I thought it would go, but when I go to start it, fuel pisses out of it... so Im going to assume I put it in wrong, or Im missing a piece.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

these are the parts that came out of the end of the line... or at least the ones I could find?

Cheers,
Cody
