Default Lifters and Ball Joints info please

Yes I know that Lifters and Ball Joints have nothing to do with each other but I got your attention

2003 Dakota SLT QC 4.7 4WD. 113000 miles

I have some play in the drivers side lower ball joint. If I am going to replace it I am going to do them all. So I start looking at ball joints and find that they range from 10 bucks to 60 bucks. I have always thought Moog made good stuff but now I read that they moved to China and quality isn't so good anymore? I just want ball joints that are going to give me another 100K. If I have to pay 60 bucks a piece for that I will but in reality which ones are most people using?

I have a tapping noise on startup that goes away within 5 minutes. Once it goes away the engine is very quiet. I see that lifters can be had for $5 ea up to some crazy prices. I have used several Sealed Power products over the years and see that lifters for my truck run about $10 each. Is Sealed Power still good stuff or not? What brand do people have the best luck with.

I love my truck and it gets pretty well pampered. It takes me to work, occasionally pulls a 3000 lb camper and sometimes hauls my motorcycle.

Thanks in advance for any info.

Dave
