Reving engine while at constant speed or idling

ok this is going to sound off the wall. but here it goes. i changed the battery. and it hasn't done it once sense, i put a new one in. i ask a friend about the issue that i was having. he said try that. so i did. come to find out is that i had a bad cell in my battery. and the volts was dropping to far down. and causing the issue. sounds off the wall and did not believe him. put i tried it and it worked

It's not off the wall at all. Dakota's hate it when the voltage isn't just exactly right.
