Default Radiator

So it looks to me like the radiators on these trucks are freaki huge. They hang low way too much for my liking. they say they are 23 inches tall. What I wanna know is if I can get a smaller one for my truck? maybe 18 inches tall so it doesnt hang down so much. and how would that affect my truck cooling wise?

They have them large for a reason. Im assuming you have a V8 in your? If you put in a smaller radiator then you will probably have cooling issues.

what don't you like about it? It uses every inch of the core support for good reason. These trucks run hot. Pretty sure a short version doesn't exist unless you feel like alot of fabrication.

No ive got the 3.9 in mine. And i havent seen it even te tack get to half on the temp gauge. I plan on building a skid plate and thos radiator kind of limits the angle i can have the skid plate at. I wanna do something smaller and use an E fan.

I have seen a guy fit a 29x19 CBR radiator. Dual pass and 15 inch fans. Im just waiting for him toreply to me and see how he got it in there. Im fine with custom fit and ditching the lower brace.
