Default Tuner ideas...

I just purchased a superchips flashpaq tuner for my 3.9, after updating it online went to plug into obd and feel the power... Not quite, since I have aftermarket parts of course the tuner wont recognize the additions, so called superchips and was disappointed to find out that because i have a fastman tb the tuner wont work with said tb and even if it did the truck would run like crap. I did research this specific tuner and was fairly confident it would work with my truck, obviously not. My question to you all is, what tuner would work with the mods I have... K&N air filter, fastman tb, dual exhaust with NO cat.

Why did you bypass hemifever?

Plug for sean -> hemifever@aol.com

what do you mean it won't recognize your additions? i have a 4.7 with muffler , air filter, fastman tb and my superchips tuner works great. i can feel a ton more power with the additions.

The superchips tuner # 3840 has to read a stock engine before it can update for performance mods. And of course with the mods already in my truck I would have to revert back to stock for the tuner to work, doesn't make much sense to me. Would hemifever work on a magnum? How about sct?

when the tuner reads your truck the tb and the filter and exhaust don't read any different, it just reads your stock map and downloads other maps instead.

most everybody on here buys from Sean, just because he's easy to work with. He did a bunch of "little" tweaks to the can tunes no problem for me. Wasn't till I said "Roll the timing to 32 degrees" That he asked for custom tune $$.
