2.5 to 5.9 swap?

You can do 5.2 or 5.9. Just depends on what you can get your greasy paws on.

Also, the PCM has to match the trim level you have now- elec locks/windows, security, ect, and the new motor. It's a little narrow, but they will exist. And what you can't conjour up yourself, the likes of SCT or a PCM flashing company can conjour up for you for a price.

So would all this apply the same if swapping out the 3.9 to 5.2 or 5.9?

not as much, but a chunk of it. Transmission swap isn't required but it's suggested. Ditto w/ front springs. 360 swap gets pretty complicated quickly.

so my brother is coming out for 3 months, so im gonna look into finding the parts and prices or a donor truck and just swap everything into my truck,
