Default Wheel Hub with ABS on no ABS Dak

Pretty much the title.

I need to replace the wheel bearings and rockauto has a whole saler clear out right now. Raybestos hub with front ABS but my truck only has RW ABS.

Can I just cut the connectors off and use them or is there some sort of design change with vehicles that have 4W ABS?

Ghetto way of doing it I know but prices in Canada go for 225 for a single hub no ABS.

Rockauto has it for 80 bucks on sale for 50.

Thanks Magnet.

Also, would you go with a Raybestos one for this price?

Reg $79 now $54.

Timken's go for $97

Not trying to cheap out this time - bought a no name brand for $40 here in Canada and its dead after 6 months.

I'd say timken, since bearings and stuff is all they do, don't really have to worry about the quality.

I'd also suggest Timken but no matter which brand, make sure you torque them exactly to spec or they won't last.

When I installed my first one I torqued the axle nut properly, it was just a cheap hub.

Thanks for your input tho, I'll probably dish out the extra cash and go with a timken one... still better price than here and that's shipping included.

Timken used to be awesome, but now they sell you the same cheap Chinese crap you get from everybody else. At least that's been my experience.
