oil pressure problem

It's on the back side of the engine right next to the distributor. Remove the air cleaner box and hose, remove the air hat and unplug the electrical connector from the sensor. You need the special oil pressure sending unit socket, a 3/8 ratchet with an 8 or 10 inch extension and a 3/8 universal joint on the socket end of the extension. The socket I bought at Napa was less than 10 bucks and made in the USA. Be sure to use thread sealant if your new sensor does not come with sealant already on it.

Don't guess. Jack up the vehicle and get under it with a strong light. If everything is already covered in oil and you can't spot the source, wash down the engine (top and bottom) with degreaser and take it for a drive. You should be able to spot the leak after that.
