My daughter has a 2004 Dodge Dakota, 4WD, V6. This truck is her pride and joy...it has 64,000 miles on it and she has had absolutely no trouble with it. Yesterday morning, when she shifted to reverse, the truck would not move. She tried again and it began moving, but suddenly started jerking. The transmission fluid was low and she added some. I drove it the rest of the day and it was fine; this morning, same thing. The temp was about 52 degrees both days. She's afraid to drive it and cause further damage. She hauled a riding lawn mower in her truck on Sat. Could that have caused this problem somehow? Please help...any advice is very appreciated.
